March 26 – Bloom Where You are Planted

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out their roots by the river and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8

In Isaiah 61:3, believers are called “…trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord.” Isn’t it good to know that you have been intentionally planted? You are no accident!

God knew you from the beginning…from your mother’s womb. (See Psalm 139:13) His plan is for you to prosper, for you to bloom with fragrant flowers and nourishing fruit.

Even when the heat is on and everything around you seems dry. He provides His “rivers of living water” springing up from deep within to bring strength in time of trouble. (See John 7:38)

Keep trusting the Lord today. He has a plan for your life. You have a unique identity and divine destiny upon the earth today. Trust the Master Gardener with your life. Spread your roots deeply beside the River of Life, and bloom where you are planted!

Pray: “Father, make my fruit sweet so those who eat will grow spiritually strong and healthy. Help me to put my trust in You and bloom in Your garden exactly where I am planted. In Jesus’ Name, amen.”
